  • Children ages 0-2 stay free

  • Children ages 3-12 get discounted rates

  • Discounts available for longer stays:
    4-6 nights -10%
    7+ nights -20%
    15+ nights -30%
    30+ nights -40%

  • Minimum 3 night stays and special rates apply for long weekends and high seasons.

2024 Low season rates (including -15% discount for direct booking):

Pine and Stone Cottages (best for 4-6 people)

  • Minimum rate = R1490/night for 2 people
    + R300/night for additional teens/adults
    + R200/night for children

  • Pine Cottage: max 7 people total (1 queen, 2 twins, 2 bunks, 1 couch)
    Stone cottage: max 9 people total (1 queen, 4 twins, 1 sleeper couch for 2, 1 floor mattress)

For groups of 10-14 people, Stone Cottage + Studio is a good combo as units are close to each other.

Studio (best for 2-4 people)

  • Base rate = R840/night for 1 person
    + R250/night for additional teens/adults
    + R200/n for children

  • Max 5 people total (1 queen, 2 bunks, 1 couch)

Secret Garden Glamping (best for 2 people)

  • Base rate = R840/night for 1 person
    + R250/night for additional teens/adults
    + R200/n for children

  • Max 3 adults, max 4 people total (1 queen, extra floor mattresses)

Acorn Tiny House (best for 1-2 people)

  • Base rate = R590/night for 1 person
    + R300/night for additional teen/adult
    + R200/n for children

  • Max 2 adults, max 3 people total (1 queen, 1 floor mat)

Tipi

  • Base rate = R390/night for 1 person
    + R300/night for additional teen/adult
    + R200/n for children

  • Max 2 people (1 queen)

Camp Site

  • R170 per person per night
    + R85/n for children aged 3-11

  • Max 8 campers total

  • Dogs @ R30/night

Policies

Furry Friends - Dog Policy

  • Dogs are allowed at the discretion of management. 

  • Dogs must be kept under control at all times and must be leashed if necessary. 

  • Please don’t let your dogs harass our staff, other guest or other dogs.

  • Extra charge of R60 per dog per night (R30/n for the campsite).

  • Dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms or on the couches.

  • Please pick up after your dog around the houses.

  • Dogs are never to be left alone at Tegwaan (whether inside or outside the units, attached or free to run around).

  • We reserve the right to charge an extra fee in case of damages or injury caused by pets.

  • Owners take full responsibility for any damage or injury caused by their pets. 

Booking policy

  • 50% deposit is required to confirm any booking

  • Balance is required 2 weeks before check-in date

Cancellation & Postponement Policy

If we are successful in rebooking the cancelled unit(s) and dates, up to 100% refund (depending on the overlap) will be offered in the form of credit toward a future booking.

Otherwise:

  • Full refund until 4 weeks before check-in date

  • 75% refund until 3 weeks before check-in date

  • 50% refund until 2 weeks before check-in date

  • 25% refund until 1 week before check-in date

  • No refund less than 1 week before check-in date

For events involving exclusive use of the property, double cancellation deadlines (for example: minimum 8 weeks notice for full refund).
